1956, French, Still Life with 'Mother-in-Law's-Tongue'.
A charming, post impressionist oil on canvas of a breakfast table, depicting a white, ceramic jug and bowl, linen table cloth, freshly baked baguette and the green-spiked leaves of a 'mother-in-law's tongue' house plant on a round wooden table. The pistachio green, rush seat chair and terracotta tiled floor is dappled with sunlight.
Condition; Very Good, some areas of very fine craquelure.
