Mid-century, British still life by Horas Kennedy (British 1917-1997). A central cyan, glass bowl of oranges, an ink blue skillet, three aubergines as dark as bruises. A pale pink colander painted ghost like against the deep shadows which fall across a round moonlit table. A whoosh of animated orange fabric. Nothing is left to chance here, the painting is considered and careful whilst close inspection reveals each section to made of a single pass of the brush.
Newly framed, ready to hang.
