Poster; Milk for Warmth
£90.00 Sold out
It's a cold winter day. Why not warm up with a nice glass of milk? In 1941, government artists asked the people of Cleveland to do just that. Decades before "Got Milk?" posters appeared in school cafeterias and gymnasiums, the Food and Drug Administration promoted milk with a stylized woman wearing a stocking cap. Energy food, indeed!
Framed and glazed.
