Enigmatic, mid-century, Swedish oil painting on canvas.

Sun floods the little house falling across a striped rug and a wooden floor. Geraniums are red flowered in the window, on a cornflower blue table resides a beautifully rendered cake stand with black scalloped edge. Beyond the room a glimpse of a bedroom, its bed with a striped pillow case and a green chair.
